The very first verse of the holy Quran revealed to the Prophet of Islam states: “Read: ‘In the name of thy Lord who created man from a cloth. Read: And thy Lord is the most generous who taught by the pen, taught Man that which he knew not.” (Quran, 96:1-5)

Beloved Messenger of Allah S.A.A.W said ‘The acquisition of knowledge is compulsory for every Muslim, whether male or female.’ 

Also He P.B.U.H said ‘Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave’ 

We praise Allah that the Smethwick Jamia Mosque has come a long way since we first began our journey in 1980. Since that time, Smethwick Jamia Mosque have made significant developments in the quality of education for students attending the Masjid. The importance of education should never be overstated.

Smethwick Jamia Mosque seek to improve and uplift the Imaan of children attending the Masjid through Education and Spirituality from our amazing teachers.

If you wish for you children to attend Smethwick Jamia Mosque, please fill out the Smethwick Jamia Mosque Youth form below and return it to the office located at the Masjid.

Youth Class – Admission is now open!

Youth Classes will be taking place from 26th March between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Please note women will be seated separately during the classes and all are welcome. Admission to the Youth class is mandatory. Therefore, if you have any questions, please contact the Headteacher on the number below.
